🎯 Job Purpose
As a Credit Controller, your role will be to manage and maintain debtor accounts, reduce outstanding debt, and ensure compliance with Sasol’s credit policies. You’ll handle reconciliations, process payments, respond to customer queries, and minimize financial risk through accurate and efficient credit control.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Manage the debtors’ book and follow up on overdue accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts and allocate payments accurately
- Process rebates, refunds, and credit/debit notes
- Handle export debtor processes, including forex and letters of credit
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX, Companies Act, and NCA
- Prepare reports on overdue accounts and participate in internal audits
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support safe operations by following Sasol’s risk and SHE practices
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Finance Diploma or B-Degree (advantageous)
- Experience:
- At least 3 years in a credit control or debtors management role
- Experience in export debtors and forex dealings is beneficial
